Creating a 'Type Group'.

Step 1 :

Go to Tcode SE11.

you will see following Screen.

Select 'Type group' Radio button on the Screen and Provide a 'Type group name' (starting with 'Z' or 'Y' , here Type group name is 'ZTGRP').

Click on 'Create' button, then you will see a popup window, Provide Short Description  and press 'Enter'.

Step 2 :

• Provide 'Package' Name where we want to Save.(Click here - How to Create a Package).(or) If you want to store it on Local System then Click on 'Local Object'.

• Click on 'Save' button, then you will see following Screen.
• Provide for what ever you want to define in the Type Group.(here i am defining two structures).     (Click here - How to Create a 'Structure in SE38').
• After the completion of Coding, Click on 'Save(CTRL+S)', Compile(CTRL+F2) then Activate(CTRL+F3) the Object.  

• Come back to SAP Main Screen by pressing 'F3'(multiple times) or Shift+f3. 

Using the Created  Type Group in ABAP Editor (SE38).

Go to Tcode SE38 (ABAP Editor).

Define the Type Group using key word Type-pools.

Define required Objects based on the Objects of Type Group by using key 'Data' Key word.
